Tale 1: Fridge of Fungus

One of the most familiar legends of the Knight is the tale of the fridge, better known as: "The Fridge of Fungus."
Once upon a time, the Knights had a fridge. It was just an ordinary fridge, used to cool drinks. But something went terribly wrong when the Knights moved to their "new" old location within the bunker.
Ever since the reinstallment of the fridge within the walls of the Citadel, located inside the bunker, the fridge has never been the same. The fridge was never really used in the Citadel, since the selling of drinks was prohibited inside the bunker. Alas, nobody really cared about the fridge. With it's former inhabitants rudely being taken away from him, the fridge started to hallucinate and make friends of his own. It started with the degradation of his cooling abilities: "If nobody really cares," the fridge thought. "why would I even care about making things cold? Why shouldn't I keep myself at a comfortable temperature?" And so it did. The fridge gradually started to heat it's inner until they were on an acceptable temperature. But this was not enough for the fridge, Oh no.
The fridge started to lose it's sanity more and more with every lonely day it spent within the confined space of the Citadel. And fate had it that the fridge was not completely empty. Someone had forgotten to remove the last packet of orange juice from the fridge. The fridge started to focus all of his energy on making his last friend as comfortable as possible.
For some reason, the fridge started to adjust his inner temperature to the best possible temperature for the packet of orange juice. And over time, the orange juice started to get really comfortable with the temperature and environment the fridge provided it with. the orange juice even liked it so much, it started to reproduce. But the thing is that a single packet of orange juice doesn't simply spawn another packet of juice, it does something completely different. When a packet of orange juice reproduces, it starts to spawn fungus.
With the spawning of fungus from the packet of orange juice, the fridge instantly got some new friends. Off course the fridge also wanted his new friends to feel at home. So the fridge further increased his inner temperature to the best possible temperature for the fungus to flourish.
At this time, one of the members of the Knights noticed the increasing heat generated by the fridge. Word spread and plans were made to move the fridge to his final resting place. But the plans involved a bit of financing and that seemed to be a problem. So the fridge remained at his location for quite some time, still accustoming the fungus and orange juice within and feeding it as much as possible.
Half a year later. The Knights finally made the decision to remove the fridge from the Citadel. But the fungus already grew an entire new civilization. This civilization had already started to expand it's borders and was currently colonizing the outer bottom of the fridge. So when the Knights tried to remove the fridge, and therefore the fungus, from it's natural habitat, it was not amused. The fridge showed his disagreements by spawning an entire bread within the former freezing area of the fridge.
Not being distracted by the spontaneously spawned bread. Three of the bravest Knights made it their task to take the fridge to his final resting place. When those three brave Knights put the fridge on it's side (so it would fit onto the transportation cart), the fungus at the bottom of the fridge launched it's counterattack against the intruders of their natural habitat. With fungus spraying all over them, the three brave Knights kept on moving the fridge and finally got it out of the building.
All that we know today of these three brave heroes, is that they have removed the fridge from the Citadel and even from the bunker. But no one ever heard of them again. So from that day forward, the Knights stop at every piece of fungus they come across and take a moment of silence to remember the three brave heroes that one day had given their lives to protect the rest of the Knights from the dangers of the fungus society.
